Royal visit from Sweden

Hello Sweden,

Long time no see friends from sweden means quite often one thing. Drinking Party. This weekend was no exception when Magnus stopped by here on his way to Thailand, Kho Lanta. Saturday afternoon he landed on Changi airport and I went to pick him up at 18.00. We had a cab ride back to my place that is on the opposite side of the island, the westcoast. Mange hade a short rest and then we planned to go for a movie. But first some dinner. We went to Orchards Food Republic where you can get all kind of food. Indian, Malay, Chineese, Japanese and so on. We went for some north indian food which was really tasty. "Unfortunately" the dinner took some time so we had to re-schedule a few things since it was "to late for cinema". And, well I guess you know what the options were. The Pub.

So we went to a couple of places and started of at Boat Quay where we had a few beers and watched some football (pic. above). After that we went on to check out some places like Forbiden City (bar) The Clinic (Trendy Bar) and 1night stand (another bar). Finaly we ended up at Ministry of Sound, a techno/club place with many different rooms to satisfy the visitors.
My favourite is the white room which designed in 60's futursim style. The hour went late Mange felt like dancing and you can see the cool moves on the picture to the right. The most popular drink in the bar were vodka lime while mange prefered some beer. The smoking machine was running hot and the mood was high all evening. Later Mange become sleepy even though he never passed out. In the end though I have to say its admirable of a man in his age to conquer jet lag just to go serious party. Look forward for a second round on your way back. :-)

Inspired by Mange I made a few steps myself. We went for a cab around 6 am in the morning and had a sleep until 12.00.

The next day Mange had to prepare for take off to Kho Lanta. We had a breakfast at the block coffee shop and after that we catched another cab to Changi.

Well, thats all for now. Im right now in a hectical period at work and I am preparing a Video Case Library for further development. Now its evening here and I will go back home in a short while.

Take care all of you back home

Hans

What's that all about?
