This weekend Magnus was visiting me on his way back home from Thailand. One weird thing that happened was when we entered the elevator to go to Asia One bar, on the top level of a sky scraper. We stepped inside the elevator and I pushed the button to the top floor or at least I thought I did that, we just continued our conversation for another 30 seconds, when suddenly the elevator turned black. Well we were both convinced that we were stucked somewhere high up, and started to find our mobiles to get some light, finally we could see something and Magnus suggested we should look for the alarm button. Luckily I choose to push the button that open the door and when we stepped out it showed that we still where at that lobby. We havent moved an inch. This is how funny M. found that.
The next day we went to the Arab Quarters and had a lunch there. The AQ is a nice and quiet area with less traffic and that can be quite a relief when you have a hangover (or any time for that sake). So over some Moroccan food we talked about our present time and life in general, and we were speculating of the development of the web and how communication and sharing might re-shape society and the way we look at it. I guess all this blogging and chatting and sharing of pictures, videos, sound files, texts, the access to all kinds of media in the end must build bonds between humans. War will hopefully one day be considered as some relic of the past, right now it seems like a bunch of wackos living in caves and right wing conservative Americans has put up the agenda. When I look on the web I really wonder who they represent. Definitely not the majority. By the way, here is an interesting lecture on Participatory Democracy that was held at MIT last week. Big screen, good sound quality, interesting speech. Highly recommended.

Skoj att träffa dig. Hade riktigt kul i Singapore. Hissincidenten är ett bra bevis. Lyckligtvis var det lite bättre väder när jag komm hem än när jag åkte iväg. Våren verkar faktiskt va på gång.
