Another day at work has gone by. I am quite happy about my job right now. I feel a learn a lot of new things and I hope to turn this new knowledge into something that can useful for a more longterm future. On the tech side I have developed a few more skills in CSS and HTML, Streaming of different media and how different digital devices inter connect. All this was a part of my Masters Program so I feel I am at the right place. I was familiar with EndNote before but have discovered a lot more useful functions in that program while doing literature review.

Pic 2. The menu for some dessert at Jurong Point Shoping mall. This picture I find funny most because of the name of the desserts. Last week I read an readers article in The Strait Times (The only major news paper in Singapore). The writer was upset of the superfluous use of the Spanish and French words "a'la" and "de" in different menus. He thought it ridiculous that they should blend different language elements. The words are supposed to associate to something extra delicious from the European kitchen. So how about "Aloe Vera De Honey Pearl" or "Aloe Vera De Tadpole" my favourite, not in this picture though is "Rambutan De Green Jelly"

Finally, another picture of these shopping mall shows that are popular in Singapore. I had some ideas to put up a small collection of "best of shopping mall shows" someday. Don't know anything about the figure on this picture, he was speaking Chinese and he was damn popular among the crowd. People cheering and kids shouting suggestions when he entered the stage.
