TOMAS- TOMAS - TOMAS BROLIN (STABILT)

A month ago I read the news paper here in Singapore. They had a special page about players who failed in Premier Leauge. One of those mentioned was our very own Tomas Brolin. Below is a picture i took of the paper, with all the basic facts of the post career, including the famous recording with Doctor A we so well know of :-)
None the less, I prefer to describe his biography in terms of "The early Brolin" and "The late Brolin" in a way similar to Wittgenstein. "The early Brolin" is still the hero who gave us very fine moments with the bronze medal in the football world cup 1994 as the absolute highlight, a medal he contributed greatly to win. "The late Brolin" though was quite pathetic. But even those events must be described as cult. And the single with Doctor Alban and Bjorn Borg must be one of the most surreal moment in the Swedish music history. With the immortal line "Läget är stabilt" ("The situations is stable" in English) as the lyrics most memorable part. Reading about it in the Singapore paper had probably a completely different connotation to me as compared to most Singaporeans.
