Nu skall jag beskriva stegen som jag gått igenom ett par gånger för mycket: 1. Ansökan skickas 2. Ett autorespond mail skickas som tackar för intresset (i bästa fall) 3. Efter en eller ett par månader kommer - ibland - ytterligare ett mail som säger att de är väldigt glada att så många har sökt jobbet och att nu jobbet tillsatts av en annan. 4. Eller - förra året fick jag gå på två intervjuer - så är man en av tio till tjugo personer som tas in för intervju. Statistiskt sett alltså 5-10 procent chans att man får jobbet om man nu tar sig förbi första spärren (dvs att man kommer på intervju). Förra året sökte jag cirka 100-150 jobb så om man söker 1000 jobb med fortsatt gott humör finns en chans att få ett jobb.
Så, vad är alternativen: 1. I Sverige är det att söka vårdjobb och enklare jobb (fast ibland känns det som man varit borta för länge även för det). Sedan har man kommit in på det sluttande planet igen, ju mer tiden går desto svårare blir det att komma in på de området som man är utbildad inom. Det lockar inte alls.Nummer 2: Mitt älskade Norge, jag har sökt plats på ett flertal båtar och hoppas på en öppning snart. Nu, med flickvän och allt, har aldrig ambitionen varit starkare att jobba för en hygglig framtid. Jag måste få hjulen att rulla igen. Kanske kan man starta eget företag eller söka en doktorandplats i Singapore nästa år med sparkapital på fickan. Bli en "self made man", gifta sig och långsamt påbörja ett medelsvensson liv. Inte så dumt alls.
