Pic. Boss BR Portable StudioI remember a long time ago when I was lending a "porta studio" from Martin W's parents. It weighted a bout 20 kg and and you have to load it with two cassettes. Technology has evolved since then. Above you can see my newly bought portable recorder. It weight about 100 gr, has 4 main tracks and 32 virtual tracks as well as possibilities to make a master mix, add effects and rhythms.
Yesterday I made my first test recording and I was surprised over the crisp sound and it was pretty cool to be able to record a lead guitar on a second track and put on extra vocals.
I hope to put up some music demos on the blog later on. I also have an idea for the future involving arty online project based on the open source culture / mentality. Maybe some of you musically inclined people back home are interested in participating.
